The Bredasdorp Shipwreck Museum is a maritime heritage site paying tribute to the many ships that have floundered along the Cape’s tumultuous coast. Besides a handful of replicas, almost all the artefacts in the Bredasdorp Shipwreck Museum are original. Small treasures and coins can be found dispersed between cannons, portholes, figureheads, furniture, china, bells, buoys and other life-saving equipment.
