Getting Here

Directions from Cape Town

Take the N2 highway towards Cape Town International Airport, and carry on straight towards Somerset West. Follow the N2 past the town and all the way up and over Sir Lowry’s Pass. Once you are over the pass, carry on straight on the N2 until you reach Peregrine Farm Stall, which is the gateway to the Grabouw / Elgin area. Turn left just past Peregrine Farm Stall on the R321 if you are staying in the town, otherwise carry on straight along the N2 and take the appropriate turnoff as required depending on where you are staying.

Directions from Garden Route

Take the N2 highway towards Mossel Bay and follow this highway all the way along the Garden Route until you reach Grabouw. The journey will take you all the way along the coast and then inland, passing through Riversdale, Swellendam, Riviersonderend, Caledon and Botrivier. Since Grabouw / Elgin is located along the same stretch of highway, it is not difficult to find as long as you stick to the same road and follow the signs towards Cape Town. Once you reach Botrivier you will be entering the Elgin Valley area and should then take the appropriate turnoff to your accommodation or desired destination within the valley.
